What is a Honeycomb Padded Mailer?
A Honeycomb Padded Mailer is a kind of cushioning envelope mailer that is made by putting a layer of honeycomb paper into two layers of kraft paper. The hexagonal structure of the honeycomb paper provides an excellent shock-absorbing function. With air trapped inside the cavities under both surfaces, it can also provide a good insulating effect.
Honeycomb Padded Mailers have become an important packaging solution in e-commerce recently because it is extremely cost-effective and eco-friendly. It is replacing corrugated boxes on many occasions.
Our History in Producing Padded Mailer Machines
We started making padded mailer machines in 2017 when our customers reached out to us to make honeycomb padded envelope mailers because of their environmentally friendly nature. Nowadays, more and more online sellers care about the sustainability of the environment and the social responsibility of protecting it.
3 Variants of the Machine
After generations of innovative development and integrations of cutting-edge technology, our machines can now make mailers from honeycomb paper, embossed paper, and corrugated paper, or combined.
Automation
Our machines are equipped with advanced servo motors for accurate movements and intelligent programs to control the calculated feeding and pulling of honeycomb paper into the void fill layer. Further, the paper tension is automatically controlled by the built-in computer to reduce paper breaks. The loading and unloading of paper is also machine-controlled. The number of bags being produced is counted automatically for easier packaging.
Speed
The machines can produce big-size padded mailers, like 600×500+50mm, at a high speed of 45 pieces per minute and double the out with smaller bags by making two bags a time side by side.
Double Sealing Strips and Tearing tape
We can put an additional sealing strip and tearing tape on the flap (for quick returns).
